WoW or TES: Oblivion
I'm buying a new PC game tomorrow, and Im unsure what to get.
My 2 final options are either WoW or TES: Oblivion, and I wanna know what one most of you think is better.

where to start...hmmm..
Oblivion breakdown (not complete but good enough)
Graphics: First time i seen characters that moved and talked with such percise movement. The world is huge and very mimium load time for towns and different areas. All the characters has facial features so you can tell if he or she is angry, sad, and other emotions. Granted, you need a decent rig to run this game and to enjoy the graphic setting on high.
Gameplay: If you like FPS along with some RPG elements mixed in, you would love the battle system. You basically view the whole game through first-person view point, by pressing R, you get the behind the back third person view. Gameplay involved you creating your character from ten different classes that has different benefits. The dark elf can use magic and resistent to certain spells. The lizard race is good at stealth and lock picking and other classes has benefits also. You can move and steal anything you see, you can walk into someone's home (or break in, like i did ) and steal or even kill the home owner inside. You also get quests from different NPC, and you get guilds to join in. There are 4, Thief, Fighter, Mage, and Assassin guild. Each has different way to join in. As you join these guilds, you can level up and gain higher ranking within each. Althought you will get tons of quests, with a click you can view these quest objective and click map icon to zoom into that area (if you have explore or spot that location first, otherwise you can't instant zoom) You get different weapons that degenerate as you used them, same goes with your armors.
Storyline: very simple, the king died, the city in danger. Your character is there to find the heir to the throne and save the city from all these evil things coming out of oblivion gate (which you have to close)
Replay value: granted it doesn't have online component, but so many quests, and things to do. If you don't feel like doing the quests, you can explore around towns, or (if your're sneaky and good at lock picking) go into houses and steal for your thief guild. There are endless things to do for this game.
overall, it a great game compared with all the MMORPG out there. Sure you might not have real-life players to battle against or with. But you get a sense of the world in Oblivion is living and real.
For the OP, i would suggest playing both first to see which one fit your playing style.

It really depends if you want to play single-player or get into multiplayer action. It also depends on what kind of storyline you're looking for. I have Oblivion and I played WoW for a week, so I can recommend both. Another thing you can do is stick with GW, although I think that Oblivion is better than it in some cases.
